I just went to the post office and dropped my tax payment into the drive up mailbox. I could tell immediately it didn't fall in. So I got out of my car and was amazed that there were envelopes piled up almost to the point that they were falling out of the mailbox. And you could see the majority were to the IRS. I pulled mine out and walked them in. Assuming there's a check and probably a SSN in there, I'm just amazed at how careless people can be.
